•   About Us

The Ika Mission Water Project is a Christian ministry working under the auspices of Stewards Company (Nigeria) Ltd., a non Government (NGO) nonprofit Christian mission established in Nigeria in 1952. Stewards Company's mission is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ using practical tools such as community development assistance, medical work, printing, camps, Bible School and Bible study/teaching programs. The Ika Mission Water Project, our newest method for reaching out to people. We got started with hand digging water wells in communities close to the mission. The project soon transitioned to drilling wells and adopted the name Ika Mission Water Project in 2006.

  •    About Our Mission

The purpose, goals, and spirit of the Ika Mission Water project are of the same spirit as the Stewards Company mission; to help the people physically and guide them spiritually. IMWP's main thrust is towards providing water wells to lessen the affliction of poverty without prejudice to tribe, affluence, or religion. We grieve when we see children suffering and hear of them dying because of water born disease. We strive to make their lives and future happier and healthier, and all the while we work we are ever mindful of being ambassadors of God; to show the Love of God and pray for more souls to be won for God's kingdom.
